We sell privacy. We practise it too.

This Privacy Policy explains clearly and honestly what personal data Ohm Privacy Solutions collects, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights as a UK resident under UK GDPR. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising trackers. We collect only what is necessary to serve you.

Ohm Privacy Solutions (OHMPS) is a UK-based business that sells privacy-first hardware: De-Googled smartphones running GrapheneOS and De-Amazoned Kindle e-readers. We also offer personalised 1-on-1 Privacy Sessions.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

2.1 When You Place an Order or Make an Enquiry

- Name — to process your order and communicate with you
- Email address — to send order confirmations, shipping updates, and consultation follow-ups
- Delivery address — to ship your device to you
- Phone number — only if you provide it voluntarily through our booking or contact forms
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment provider; we never store card details on our servers

2.2 When You Visit Our Website

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics tool, to understand how visitors use our site. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. It provides aggregate data only (e.g., page views, traffic sources).

We do not use advertising trackers, remarketing pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data only to:

- Process and fulfil your order
- Send order confirmations and shipping notifications
- Respond to consultation requests and enquiries
- Provide customer support
- Comply with our legal obligations (e.g., UK tax and financial records)

We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If we ever send newsletters or promotional content, we will ask for your explicit consent first.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share your information only with the following trusted service providers, strictly as needed to deliver our service:

- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery (order and booking confirmations)
- Shipping couriers — to deliver your order

All third parties are contractually required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary:

- Order records are kept for 6 years in compliance with UK HMRC requirements
- Consultation enquiries are retained for 12 months, then deleted
- You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 6)

- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data where no legal obligation requires us to retain it

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

We use only essential cookies required for the website to function correctly. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies entirely.

You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS. We do not store payment card details. No method of internet transmission is entirely risk-free, but we take this responsibility seriously.

Our website and services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided their data to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Links to Other Sites
